Auto Accident Payment
Our office agrees to hold the balance of your account after any PIP (personal injury protection from your auto insurance policy) payments and wait for payment of the remaining balance after settlement of your Auto Accident case.
We only accept auto accident patients that have PIP coverage.
The limits of your PIP coverage may not pay for your entire bill. If that happens, we agree to hold that balance on account and wait for settlement from the other party’s insurance provided you are represented by Legal Counsel approved by this office. Otherwise, we require payment as services are rendered after the PIP is exhausted.
Before your first appointment, we require proof of PIP insurance in the form of your Auto Policy ID and Claim number for this accident. Please call our or text our office at 301-951-9000 with that information. We cannot process you as a new patient without this information prior to your first visit.
Payment is expected at the time of service in all other cases.
Your Bill Becomes Due in Full If:
- Your PIP coverage becomes exhausted without approved legal representation to protect the balance.
- Your Attorney refuses to sign an Assignment Authorization to protect our bill.
- Attorney representation is terminated or changed to a new Attorney who refuses to sign the Assignment and Authorization.
- Your attorney refuses to allow this office to bill and be paid directly by your PIP insurance.
Credit Card on File:
We require a credit card to be kept on file should any balance come due now or in the future. If you cannot provide a credit card, we will accept checks or cash in advance. All receipts will be emailed to you. Any charge on your card will show up as Lotus Health Services and will be billed to your card when the balance is due.
Health Insurance:
We do not file health insurance for Auto Accident cases. However, we do require to have your health insurance information on file in case your accident doesn’t settle and there is no other source of payment.
Cash Patients:
May pay with a credit card, check or cash at the time of service.
